Department of Cardiology

 

Education: Graduated in 2002 from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (Eng.). He completed his specialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology in 2007. In 2014, he received the title of Associate Professor of Cardiology.  Since 2011, he has been working as a Training Supervisor in Samsun Training and Research Hospital Cardiology Clinic. In 2021, he received the title of Professor from the University of Health Sciences.

Research Areas: He has many international studies on coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, pacemakers and heart failure. He has significant experience in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI), coronary complex procedures (coronary CTO and bifurcation procedures), cardiac resynchronization therapy, pacemaker and ICD implantation.

Selected Studies: He has a total of 59 studies published in SCI-Expanded, 19 of which are first name. Of these, 46 are clinical studies, 13 of which are first names. These works have been cited more than 500 times by articles published in SCI-Expanded journals. In addition, he has 9 articles published in other international refereed journals, 3 of which are clinical studies, and 15 articles published in national refereed journals, 10 of which are clinical studies.
